First visit after you enrol is charged at the initial consultation rate. This is both due to funding taking 1 month to commence and initial consultation requiring a 30 minute appointment.
Due chronic GP underfunding, we are having to charge you for all the service that we provide you.
• If you are coming to see a doctor for a new issue/condition and request a repeat prescription of your regular medication, you will be charged for a consultation fee and a prescription fee.
• If you are coming to see a doctor for multiple medical problems/conditions (more than one) and/or if single medical problem takes longer than 15 minutes, you will be charged for a double/extended consultation fee.
• If you require GP to complete any form, additional referrals (more than one per consultation) and/or medical certificate(s), they will be charged additional to the consultation fee.
This may have been different in the past, but it is no longer sustainable if we are to continue to have our practice doors open. We appreciate your support and we will strive to ensure our patients benefit from any funded services that they are eligible for.

- Payments are expected to be made on the day of the appointment
- If payment is not made on the day, there will be an additional $10 admin fee (applied to the account 7 calendar days from the appointment)
- Full consultation will be charged for the missed appointment or if less than 4 hours’ notice is given
